¿QUÉ ES DESIGUAL?

Desigual, en realidad, no es una marca. Es un grupo de personas que creen en el poder de la creatividad como modo de vida.

Thomas Meyer created Desigual in 1984, inthe Barcelona neighbourhood of El Raval,when he designed a jacket that is nowconsidered one of the fashion sector's firstever upcycled products. Then filmmakersabel Coixet whispered a word,"Desigual"and accompanied it with the motto "no eslo mismo" ("it's not the same").Spanish graphic designer, illustrator andsculptor Peret, sketched our first logo: theHumans(a woman and a man holdinghands... naked). And architect Tonet Sunyerdesigned the first Desigual store in lbiza'sport in 1986

Those years served as a meeting point formany people who were fascinated by thisfree, authentic optimistic, unapologetic andMediterranean universe which, fromBarcelona, continues to inspire the worldmore than three decades later.
